An impressive monograph published on the occasion of Mike Kelley's ambitious exhibition at Gagosian Gallery (Nov. 11 - Dec. 17, 2005). Under the title Day is Done: Extra Curricular Activity Projective Reconstructions #2 - 32, Kelley produced twenty-five video installations/sculptures; dramatizing photographs of extracurricular activities he found in high school yearbooks, in order to fill in the memory gaps of his earlier Educational Complex sculpture (1995). With style, this catalogue documents Kelley's vision, with over 450 glossy pages of full-bleed color images, accompanied by artist's statement, scene notes, libretto, and two audio CDs. A fine copy in illustrated boards; this one of the more uncommon copies with cloth slipcase.
