A scarce artist's book from Josephine Meckseper, published on the occasion of her exhibition at the Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst in Bremen (Feb. 15 - May 4, 2008). Working quite directly on her trademark consumer-culture theme, Meckseper appropriates pages from a 1976 Quelle catalogue; the virtual window display for the leading German mail-order company. An accompanying essay from Sylvère Lotringer reminds us of the subtle Baader-Meinhof resonances. This copy SIGNED by Meckseper to colophon (numbered AP); minor rubbing to illustrated wrappers, near fine. Scarce, with no OCLC records located. Accompanied by a loose print (11.25 x 8.5 inches) with additional Quelle catalogue imagery printed to a mirrored sheet; SIGNED and dated 2010.
