This copy SIGNED by Demand to title page in black marker. Adopting the title from an arts magazine edited by René Magritte in the 1950s, Demand assembles both writings and photographs from a range of artists—Luigi Ghirri, Rodney Graham, Tacita Dean, Ger van Elk, August Kotzsch—on the themes of Surrealism and nature. Includes a separate booklet, laid loose into rear pocket, being a facsimile of an unpublished photobook from Luigi Ghirri, originally commissioned by the city of Ravenna's Environmental council. Minor bump to fore-edge of fully-illustrated cloth boards; near fine.
