On Sunday, August 21, 1966, at 5:07 pm, Ed Ruscha drove a Buick Le Sabre 90 mph down Highway 91. Appoximately 122 miles southwest of Las Vegas, collaborator Mason Williams threw a Model X Royal typewriter out the passenger side window. Patrick Blackwell photographed the results. Faint ghosting from price-sticker to front panel of spiral-bound wrappers; near fine.
