Rare hardcover issue of the lingerie catalogue that Bloomingdale's commissioned Guy Bourdin to shoot, with total creative control; "smoldering-satin-eroticism," as per the New York Post. One of the only monographic volumes published during Bourdin's lifetime. Bound in silver boards with gilt titles to front panel and parchment endpapers. Some rubbing to covers, with slight waving to pages, else close to near fine.
