Poster for a benefit for Harriet Gray, a Humboldt County Board of Supervisors candidate; image is a portrait of Gray driving a car. Screenprinted in black and blue, on tan paper, with Wong's chop in red. Pencil notation "#1" verso. Early poster created by Wong years before his move to New York City, while he was living in Northern California in the Eureka area. The event is advertised as happening "this Sunday," which suggests the posters would have been put up in the few days before the benefit, probably in small numbers. A few spots of minor surface color loss, and one short edge-tear, else near fine. Rare survival.
