Hockney has long been interested in utilizing current technology to create and reproduce his work. This exhibition catalogue includes reproductions of 4 drawings transmitted to the curators by fax machine during preparation for the show, and there are two sheets laid in—portraits of "Ian" and "Mum"—with explanatory entries: "The enclosed portrait... was made on a Canon color laser-copier, i.e. it is a direct reproduction without camera or film." Light soiling and wear to the white covers, else near fine. Prints are in fine, excellent condition.
