Vienna: Galerie Krinzinger, 1992. First Edition. Octavo. Artist's catalogue published on the occasion of LAX, an important group exhibition of Los Angeles artists at Galerie Krinzinger, 1992. This copy SIGNED by Burden to title page in blue pen, with an accompanying sketch of an early iteration of the artist's last installation, Ode to Santos Dumont. In this version, which proved impossible to realize, two replicas of the Titanic are chained to an Eiffel Tower constructed of Erector Set pieces, around which they rotate. Burden's drawing includes the words "Zoom, Zoom" and arrows to indicate the doomed ships' circling of the tower. Faint wear to illustrated wrappers, else fine.
