Starnberg: Josef Keller Verlag, 1968. First Edition. Oblong quarto in plain cardboard slipcase. Essays by Clara Diament de Sujo, Will Grohmann, Norbert Lynton, and Michel Seuphor. Monograph spanning the totality of Albers' career through 1968. Profusely illustrated in color and black and white, with 16 gorgeous screenprints bound in on heavy card stock. An uncommon book, usually disassembled for the prints. Light soiling to the board bottom edges, faint foxing in the margins of a few pages, else near fine in a near fine jacket, with laminate lifting at the very spine ends and a little yellowing along the spine and extremities, housed in a near fine slipcase, also yellowed at the edges. A stunning copy of the best monograph on Albers.
