N.p.p., n.p., 1991. First Edition. Folio. Printed folder, contains three loose color plates on heavy card-stock and a fourth plate with printed names of geographic locations in Iceland, also a title page on paper. The three color plates contain landscape photographs by Roni Horn, each captioned with a location: "Myrarhyrna," "Beruvíkurhraun," and "Maelifell & Bjarnarfoss." The images would later be collated in "To Place: Verne's Journey", published by Walter Konig. The project by Horn referenced both Jules Verne's 1864 "journey to the Center of the Earth" as well as functioning as a typographic encyclopedia of Iceland's unique and fantastic geology. Two creases and a spot of soiling to the printed title page, some light wear and faint fading to top of the printed folio folder; however the plates within are uniformly fine.
