The images portray both the grandeur of the Icelandic landscape as well as the detailed abstraction of natural formations; Alfred Ehrhardt is best known for Das Watt (Mudflats), published two years prior. Spine and top corners tapped, else near fine in a close to near fine jacket, soiled at the rear panel, lightly chipped at the spine head, and nicked at the extremities.
