Köln: Taschen, 2007. Deluxe Edition. Elephant Folio. Number 154 of 1600 numbered copies; SIGNED by the author. 606 pages profusely illustrated in black and white and color, tracing the controversial artist's career in chronological order from 1979 to 2007. Essays in English, German and French by Ingrid Sischy, Eckhard Schneider, Katy Siegel and Jeff Koons. The most comprehensive study of Koons' work ever published. Fine in illustrated boards with mounted lobster illustration. Housed in the near fine red, gilt-lettered clamshell presentation box showing a hint of white residue on the outside from styrofoam cushions which serve as protection for the shipping carton. Additionally, there are a few marks to the reflective paper inlaid to the inside cover of the box. Complete in the publisher's original shipping carton and the aforementioned styrofoam inserts, one of which has a hairline crack. All that said, the book has never been opened until this description!
