Profusely illustrated with black-and-white images of the students' travels throughout the city and surrounding region, printed on heavy stock photographic paper and interleaved with protective glassine sheets. Includes images of band performances, parties, festivals, and a layover in Honolulu. Each image has been captioned with details on the depicted events in English and Japanese. A letter from the publisher, with text in both languages, has been laid in. An insightful document of U.S. and Japan relations at the onset of the 1960s, with a fabulous collection of vernacular images from one high school group's international vacation. No copies in OCLC. Very lightly edge-faded, else close to fine in blind-stamped string-bound boards.
