With sixteen high quality mechanically reproduced plates by Izis that serve to illustrate the poetry of Gaston Charlet. The plates are laid into loose four page signatures arranged alphabetically by subject. The signatures themselves have been laid into a printed folder. Plates and signatures fine, the folder is worn with a small chip at the spine heel (but otherwise all intact). Uncommon first book by an underrated photographer.
