Gelpke's second book: a strange assortment of images, some shot at the seashore, which are highly evocative of the work of Japanese photographer Shigeo Gocho. Regarded by some as one of the seminal German photobooks of the postwar era; certainly under-appreciated outside Germany. Small crease near the spine head, very lightly yellowed; near fine in photo-illustrated wrappers with elongated French flaps.
