[N.p.: Privately published, 2009]. Original working maquette for The Loneliest Man in Missouri, ultimately published as an artist's book issued within From Here to There, Alec Soth's America. Comprised of 28 individual 8 X 11 1/2 inch leaves, most double-sided, with 49 original 4 X 6 inch color photographs taped to the pages; 15 of these images are captioned in Soth's hand. (The final book has 45 images.) Other than the four additional images, and some changes in sequence, the maquette is nearly identical to the finished publication, including even the color of the paper. Fine condition.
