Burrow, and dated in the year following publication. With a frontispiece gelatin silver print, 7 X 9 inches, entitled "The Cheif Mining District of Cornwall," and 26 tissue-guarded woodburytypes, 4 X 5 3/4 inches, mounted two to a page, depicting miners at work in unpleasant surroundings. Text by Burrow on mine photography, and by William Thomas describing the photographs. Two institutional hand stamps, several tissue guards stained, light stains to the front cover, else very good in gilt-stamped and edged red boards, with all the photographs in fine condition.Item #14993
