Twenty-five exquisitely printed tissue-guarded photogravures of Japanese cherry blossoms, each numbered and signed by Friedlander, and stamped on the rear of each image. The photographs were taken between 1977-1984, mostly in Tokyo and Kyoto. Gravure printing by Thomas Palmer. A beautiful production. Embossed pink silk cloth boards delicately stamped in gilt in a matching slipcase. Fine condition.
