New York: Public Art Fund, 2000. First Edition. 25 1/2 X 16 inch poster. INSCRIBED by Koons to David P. Murbach, horticulturist for New York City's Rockefeller Center, "Dave, / Thank you / for arranging / all the plants / for 'Puppy' / best wishes / for the future," with Koon's trademark flower drawing (fitting), and signed and dated 6/6/00, the opening day for "Puppy" at Rockefeller Center. Over 70,000 flowering plants grew from the 43 foot tall sculpture that was on view in New York City June 6 - September 5, 2000. The poster is mounted on foam core art board with a card, explaining the history of "Puppy" and advertising a limited edition "Puppy" vase, taped on the back. Bumped at the corners, most significantly the bottom right. Otherwise, a bright poster with an important inscription.
