Albany / New York: Argus Press for Ralph L. Boudreau, 1934. Large portfolio. Loose prints in an elaborate string-tied folding chemise, with a drawing of the U.S.S.R in red. Number 36 of 1000 copies; SIGNED by Margaret Bourke-White. Four-page introductory booklet laid in. With 20 of 24 plates included; each plate enclosed within paper matting, and printed slightly larger than the prints which were used for Bourke-White's two other Soviet portfolios of 12 prints each. The prints for all three portfolios are identical, except for the difference in size. Prints and text booklet are near fine; the portfolio has some surface stains at the edge of the front panel. Despite the adequate limitation, this portfolio is uncommon.Item #14410
