Los Angeles: The City Economic Development Board [1973]. First Edition. Ring-bound quarto in boards. Film location book published by the City of Los Angeles for the Motion Picture and Television Industry, with several hundred black and white images of possible city facilities available for location shots, photographers unattributed, usually presented three to a page with captions, and rendered in a deadpan style reminiscent of the artist books of Ed Ruscha. Some of the facilities on offer are: Department of Water and Power, Old Vehicle Salvage Yard, Franklin Canyon Reservoir, Hyperion Treatment Plant, etc. The last few pages are loose from the ring binding but not ripped from it, a little chipping at the spine ends; a very good copy in gilt-stamped navy boards.
