Barcelona: Editorial Lumen (1966). First Edition. Small square quarto. Published as part of the Lumen "Palabra y Imagen" series (see Parr / Badger v1). This book combines Neruda's poetry with Magnum photographer Sergio Larrain's images. Near fine in laminated boards in a very good jacket, rubbed and edgeworn. While this copy is the correct first edition published in 1966, the jacket was added to unsold copies in 1971 following Neruda's Nobel Prize announcement.
