Portfolio of 23 loose high quality mechanically reproduced photographs housed in a string-tied portfolio (the 24th photo comprises the cover of the portfolio). Four page introductory pamphlet by Manuel Gasser laid in (in German). The Swiss photographer's first book. The international Center of Photography was begun as a memorial fund for Bischof (killed in the Peruvian Andes at age 38), Robert Capa, and David Seymour. (Auer 315). Light edgewear on some images, a few tears and creases to the inside paper of the portfolio; a very good copy of an important portfolio.
