First Edition. Quarto. First issue with "Two Girls in Identical Raincoats". Designed and edited by Doon Arbus and Marvin Israel, and championed by John Szarkowski, who organized the retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art for which this book was commissioned. From the library of Canadian Abstract Expressionist painter Ray Mead, with his ownership signature hidden by the front flap, light bump to bottom front corner, trace foxing top edge, small crease to the bottom of the front end paper, still near fine in a near fine jacket with tiny edge tear, and a small crease to the front flap.
