The photographer Arnold Crane's copy, with his ownership signature, and a short TLS from Steichen laid in. Also laid into this copy is the mailing label off the box sent from Sandburg to Crane (presumably when Sandburg returned the book to Crane after signing it). Additionally, there are two TLS from MoMA employees laid in. Near fine in a very good jacket with a little wear at the spine ends and a tiny chip at the top spine fold.
